Description
The Cadillac of kosher steaks, London Broil is a tender, ~1" cut from the shoulder that is lean and very versatile. This tried and true steak is sure to please a crowd. This cut can stand up to high heat. Try it marinated in ketchup, mustard, garlic and honey. Can be sliced very thin, and is delicious on sandwiches or in salad. Other names for this cut: Mush London Broil. Black Angus cattle are known for their superior taste, quality, and marbling. Our farmers have bred their herds to do well on pasture and produce tender, well-marbled meat. Our breeding, combined with our specialized diet and aging techniques, results in beef that is second to none.
This steak is great with a marinade. You can follow any recipe for "Strip Steak" and use this cut. Bring your steaks to room temperature and pat dry before searing.
- Grill: Sear over high heat on a grill, then finish using indirect heat. May also be broiled or pan-seared. Tent with foil and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
