Description
If you enjoy a slightly leaner mix for your ground beef, this lean ground beef is for you. At 90% lean, this mix is lower on fat but never lower on flavor! Made from our pasture-raised Black Angus cattle, which, like all of our meats at Grow & Behold, are raised in the US without hormones or antibiotics. We take care every step of the way to make sure our meats are raised well, processed humanely, expertly butchered, carefully packaged, delivered seamlessly and prepared with confidence in your kitchen. It is our great pleasure to bring these delicious meats to your table and we think you'll really love the rich, clean flavor of our delicious ground beef. Use this lean ground beef in any recipe for stuffed seasonal vegetables, meatballs, or pasta sauce. You may want to avoid using it when braising (ie, meatballs in a broth or soup, since the lower fat content could lead to drier meat when cooked in liquid.)
Naf’s Tips
- Pan: Heat pan over medium-high heat. Add a small amount of oil. Stir as you cook, breaking up clumps, until meat is no longer pink.
