Whole Chicken - Cut in Eighths

Description
When Naf's grandmother had her first bite of our chicken, she said "This tastes like Spring Chicken. I haven't had this since I was a child in Poland." And our special poultry label, Sara's Spring Chicken was born. Whether you remember the taste of chicken from your childhood or simply want to enjoy the rich, gentle taste of pasture-raised poultry, you've come to the right place. There's kosher poultry -- and then there's Grow & Behold. You'll love the incredible flavor of these whole pastured chicken, conveniently cut for you into 8 pieces (two each of wing, breast, thigh and leg). Save the hassle of carving your bird and let us do it for you. Raised in small batches by a network of dedicated Amish and Mennonite growers, our poultry are moved to fresh pasture daily where they roam and forage freely. They are fed exclusively GMO-free grain, never any hormones, antibiotics or animal by-products. You will not find better tasting chicken anywhere else.
If you're grilling, give the bigger pieces a head start: thighs and drumsticks first, followed by breasts, then wings.
- Grill: Start the pieces over direct heat to crisp the skin. Don’t move them for at least 5-6 minutes, until the skin releases easily. Flip and cook the other side. Once seared, move the chicken to the cooler section of your grill, cover, and let them continue to cook gently for 10-15 minutes more, or until the bone moves freely from the meat when wiggled gently, or the piece is tender to the touch.
- Oven/Roast: Roast at 325F for 60-90 minutes, removing the breasts if necessary after 60 minutes or covering them to keep them from drying out.
