Description
Rose Veal Tongue is more delicate in flavor than beef tongue, but provides the same delightful culinary opportunities for soft tender meat (when braised) or delicious sandwiches (when pickled). Like all of our meats, Grow & Behold Rose Veal is raised outdoors on pasture with no hormones or antibiotics.
- Fork and Knife: Pickle tongue, chill, and slice thinly for sandwiches.
- Oven/Roast: Braise low and slow until tender. Do ahead: braised meats taste best a day or two after cooking.
