Description
For a very special occasion, our kosher "Filet Mignon" is the most sought-after steak we offer: thick, tender, flavorful, perfectly-trimmed. These 2" thick medallions are hand selected and cut from the eye of the rib, the most tender kosher cut on the steer. And with beef as tender and tasty as our pasture-raised Black Angus, you will really notice the difference. Petite and elegant, and meant to be served one per guest, these filets easily steal the show at a multi-course dinner. Good to know: Filet Mignon is always in demand. Great alternatives include: hanger steak (demi), oyster steak, flatiron steak, and dry-aged rib-eye steak. We highly encourage you to try one of these alternative, rather than waiting for a restock!

Bring your steaks to room temperature and pat dry before searing.
- Grill: Sear over high heat on a grill, then finish using indirect heat. Tent with foil and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
- Pan: Sear over high heat in a pre-heated cast-iron or heavy metal pan, 2-3 minutes per side until steak releases from the pan. Transfer pan to 350F oven to finish cooking to desired doneness. Tent with foil and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
