Description

The King of Roasts is ready for your next celebration! Our Prime Rib Roast is a gourmet, well-marbled, richly-flavored beef roast, cut from our best Black Angus cattle, which are bred for tenderness and raised in the US on pasture with no hormones or antibiotics. We carefully wet-age our beef on a precise and proprietary aging cycle, before it is vacuum sealed and flash frozen at peak quality. With a tight seal, you can enjoy this meat from your freezer for up to 2 years with no loss of quality--but who's waiting to enjoy this one, let's be real here! In our Prime Rib Roast, we separate the bones from the roast, and then net them together, so that the bones infuse the roast with extra flavor during cooking, but they are easily removed (and enjoyed in the kitchen, perhaps? chef's treat!) before serving. (Want the bones intact? Check out our Butcher's Cut 3- or 5-Bone Standing Rib Roast) Serves 2-3 people per lb.

Keep the bones on for cooking, but you don't have to serve them with the roast. Enjoy in the kitchen -- chef's treat!

Cooking Methods
  • Oven/Roast: Roast at medium to high heat. Tent with foil and let rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing and serving.

Product Questions

Hi there, I am wondering what the difference is between the butcher's cut standing prime rib and the cradled prime rib?

Hi Leslie,
The Butcher's Cut Standing Rib Roast is the same cut as our Cradled Prime Rib but the difference is in the bones. The standing roast has the bones in the roast, frenched, for a fine presentation whereas the prime rib has the bones butchered off the roast, but netted to it for flavor during cooking and ease of slicing once roasted.
